REACH for the Stars: Beacons of Light awards is an event for the Texas A&M community to learn more about the REACH Project, celebrate student beacons of light, and provide eventgoers an opportunity to support our efforts. We hope that you will consider supporting our mission to end multigenerational poverty right here in Aggieland.

What: REACH for the Stars: Beacons of Light Awards Banquet Fundraiser

When: Friday, March 24th (welcome reception at 11:00 am, Lunch program starting at 12:00)

Where: Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center

The pillars of the REACH Project are Respect Empowerment Aspiration Community Hope. Founded in 2017, REACH is a non-profit organization that provides support services and lifelong learning opportunities to working families in the Brazos Valley. REACH programs are designed to lift individuals and families, step-by-step, out of multigenerational poverty.

Programs and services are provided by REACH volunteers, as well as Texas A&M students (aka: our "beacons of light") from multiple University departments, who serve through our High Impact Service-learning Opportunities (HISO) program. Our focus areas include personal financial education, health and wellness, sustainable and affordable housing opportunities, and enhanced life skills training. REACH offers the education, resources and community that lead individuals and families to start small businesses, become homeowners, and achieve financial stability and long-term success. REACH's student "beacons of light" are instrumental to this work - please join us in celebrating their dedication, compassion and commitment to working families in Brazos Valley.
